Prince Rupert House is a beautiful Victorian guest house situated within the picturesque Red House Estate in Moor Monkton just off the A59 roughly halfway between York and Harrogate. Our non-smoking bed & breakfast has 3 ensuite guest bedrooms. The rooms have been tastefully furnished to a high standard - each with their own style and character. All are equipped with colour flat screen TV with built in DVD player, free WiFi, hospitality tray and toiletries.

Guests are provided with the unique opportunity to stay within the grounds of a country estate steeped in history. A place where you can enjoy the countryside of the Vale of York - close to the city of York, but seemingly miles from anywhere. Although Prince Rupert House is in a rural location, there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops in local villages and there is easy access to York, Harrogate, the Dales and Moors. The east coast is less than 45 minutes away for those visitors wishing to spend time by the sea.

We look forward to welcoming you to Prince Rupert House and the Vale of York.
